11-14 May, 2022: “Open Spaces – Close Encounters / Espaces Ouverts – Liens Étroits.” Curators: Alex Ranger & Alex Oehler; Artists: Belinda Harrow (Unsettled) & Melanie Rose (The Flower People). Gallery: The Fifth Parallel Gallery, Regina, SK, Canada. This exhibit was part of the 2022 Canadian Anthropology Society conference. It juxtaposed settler and Indigenous descended perceptions of our relations to each other, the land, animals, and plants through visual and tactile media, including felt, concrete, painting, and photography.
